I found it pleasant to get a place in Corona times. A house that can also be booked as a hotel. The menu is manageable but the food is okay for the money it costs. And the service polite and friendly.

Price-performance ratio does not fit here, because the food is at best middle class, the portions are quite normal. All in all, I expect a little more for my money.

We stopped here for lunch last week because of the good reviews. The positives were definitely the very friendly service and the outside of the restaurant also looks very nice. However, the food more than disappointed us. My son ate potato pancakes with applesauce, which were definitely not homemade and unfortunately didn't taste good at all. Why not make potato fritters yourself? This is not rocket science and should be standard in a restaurant. The rest of the dishes could be eaten, but the quality of the snack was mediocre - but not understandable to me given the prices. It's a shame ... We won't be back, but the rating may help improve the quality of the food.

We were in the middle of July 2020 for a week as a couple in the connected Central Hotel guests. We had booked this hotel because we wanted an attached restaurant and no longer wanted to drive in the evening. On the day of arrival, we didn't arrive until around 8:30 p.m. and after moving into the hotel and taking a short break, we were able to eat there. In Winterberg it was relatively colder than in our home country, so the radiant heaters were welcome on the terrace. Always excellent, attentive service on the terrace + very good food = great menu. By the third day the staff already knew what we wanted to drink after our motorcycle day tour. It was easy to reserve a table for later dinner. Many restaurants in Winterberg also had corona closing days and were not open as described. We felt welcome and comfortable there and would love to come back.

The tortellini taste great, but € 12.50 for a portion that even my child won't get enough of is ridiculous

We were in the season, in the evening and as a couple in the restaurant. The ambience is cozy and the staff tries hard and attentively without being overly friendly. The main and dessert were of good quality and taste. The prices are not particularly cheap, but still just in the frame.

We really enjoyed it. Food was great. Prices fully reasonable. Would love to come back. Thank you very much

A (for my taste a bit too) rustic eatery, food good, service very friendly, portion sizes ok. The roulade was excellent, the gypsy schnitzel and the schnitzel were good, the mushrooms in the hunter sauce did not taste good at all (canned mushrooms). But the fries were very good and the side salad was good. All in all, we were well satisfied. ?

Friendly staff, a nice authentic german restaurant with nice food. I took the schweinehaxe, i recommend taking that too!
